Overview


Following the acquisition of SchlumbergerSema in January 2004, Atos Origin is now a leading international IT services company with revenues of over €5 billion and 47,000 staff. The acquisition is a very complementary fit for Atos Origin providing additional scale and size, as well as adding strength in all Service Lines and building the Transport and Public Sector businesses. In the UK, Atos Origin has more than 7000 staff and revenues of over €1 billion.

Customers


More than 50 per cent of Atos Origin's revenue is from recurring business and based on multi-year contracts. The company has a strong blue-chip client base including leading companies such as ABN Amro, Brakes, ING, Lloyds TSB, National Express and Vodafone. It also serves major public sector organisations including Department of Health, Department for Work and Pensions, UK Passport Service and the Vehicle and Operator Services.
