EAP for managers

The Employee Assistance Programme is an excellent resource for Managers. Most EAP’s have a support line for Managers, which can help greatly when an employee has an emotional issue and the Manager would like advice on how to approach the employee.

Coaching for Managers is available for many areas including:

  • How to handle performance issues, disipline and grievance situations
  • Managing change within their teams
  • Breaking bad news to employees
  • How to support an employee who is having problems at home
  • Advice on how to handle interviews when an employee becomes emotional
  • Identifying signs of stress when an employee is struggling to cope
  • Referring an employee into the EAP
